The Agilent E1347A General-Purpose Reed Relay Multiplexer is a B-size, 1-slot, register-based VXI module with thermocouple compensation. It switches 16 channels of high, low, and guard each. The module has low-thermal offset performance. The multiplexer module consists of a B-size component card (labeled E1345-66201) and a screw terminal block that plugs onto the component card. The E1347A is functionally similar to the E1345A.
Using the E1326B or E1411B DMMs, the E1347A performs channel scanning with automatic conversions for many thermocouple types. Temperature measurements are made with automatic cold junction compensation. The card, in conjunction with Agilent VXI DMMs, also measures voltage, current, and two- and four-wire &omega.

Closed-case Calibration
With the ePower line, you’ll never have to send your programmable dc linear power supply back to the factory for calibration or remove dozens of screws to reach a potentiometer.  Simply follow the AMREL calibration routine using the front panel and you should be back up and running in a very short period of time (some electronic test equipment needed).   This will virtually eliminate downtime and eradicate the annual cost associated with shipping your linear power supply back to the factory for calibration.
Limit Protection
The PDS series of multi-channel programmable dc linear power supplies offers limit protection for over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature.  During an over-limit condition the output is shut down instantly to protect both the unit under power and the power supply.
Full Front Panel Control 
AMREL’s PDS multi-channel linear power supply provides full front panel control of all available features.  A multi-function keypad allows the user to access all settings via an easy-to-understand menu system.  A LCD is provided for display of important functions and readings.
RS-232 and GPIB IEEE-488 Standard

With a built-in Rubidium atomic resonance-controlled frequency reference, the PM 6685R is the most accurate frequency counter on the market and it has the additional benefit of full portability.

High stability, high accuracy and short warm-up time make this instrument ideal for high-accuracy calibration procedures outside the calibration laboratory environment, such as in base station transmitters of large telecommunications networks like GSM.
The short warm-up time makes that the PM 6685R is ready for use quickly, for example after transport or change of location inside a building.
High-resolution digital frequency counting
Frequency calibration to relative accuracies of better than 1 part in 108 has traditionally required complicated setups, or have been time-consuming to perform, with frequency counters that needed long measuring times to achieve the required resolution.
With a virtual clock frequency of 4 GHz, Fluke's PM 6685R offers an unmatched resolution of 2.5 x 10-10 per second, giving 10 reliable read-out digits in only one or a few seconds. This makes high-accuracy calibration measurements possible, with the convenience of requiring only a digital counter.
The wide choice of input options allows digital calibration measurements at up to 8 GHz, without the complexity of needing to use synthesizers, mixers and filters to provide the required resolution down to the last digits.

Additionally, digital counting techniques allow a numerical offset or nulling of the display value to make it easy to read changing or arbitrary frequency values with many different digits.
Guaranteed high stability for field operation
The built-in Rubidium reference solves the practical problems of ensuring very high stability under severe field conditions.
The atomic resonance principle of rubidium standards is intrinsically 100 times more stable than an electromechanical crystal resonator; a fact that contributes to making the PM 6685R the most accurate counter/calibrator available for field use.
Also, the atomic reference does not suffer from mechanical, thermal, vibrational and line voltage influences in the way that a crystal oscillator would. When carrying a crystal-based counter, for example, just one small bump against a step can cause more frequency change than several months of aging under controlled calibration laboratory conditions.
This stronger resistance to environmental stress on the reference permits longer calibration intervals in many practical situations, making the PM 6685R more convenient for field personnel and reducing the cost of ownership. In fact, using the PM 6685R at a field site may even reduce the need to send other elements of a field lab out for their own respective calibration.
Rubidium references should therefore be considered for all meaurements or calibrations in the field where accuracies better than a few parts in 108 are required, or where frequent calibration of the counter is not possible.

CTC100 Cryogenic Temperature Controller
Introducing the new CTC100 Cryogenic Temperature Controller — a high performance instrument that can monitor and control temperatures with millikelvin resolution.
The CTC100 Cryogenic Temperature Controller is configured to suit a wide range of research and industrial applications. The system consists of four sensor inputs, two powered and four analog voltage outputs, and up to six feedback control loops. Four general purpose analog and eight digital I/Os are available, along with autotuning functions for setting PID parameters automatically.
Sensor Inputs
The CTC100 offers four temperature inputs that can read RTDs, thermistors, and diodes. Each temperature input channel has its own 24-bit ADC with eleven input ranges, and is equipped with its own independent excitation current source.
Standard calibration curves for a variety of sensors are included, and custom calibration curves of up to 200 points each can be entered. Each sensor input has high and low level or rate-of-change alarms. Sensor inputs can be lowpass-filtered to reduce noise, and/or differenced with another channel.
Powered and Analog Voltage Outputs
The CTC100 has two heater outputs that can each deliver up to 100 W of power to a 25 Ω heater. In addition, four analog voltage I/O channels can be used to drive heaters with the help of an external amplifier.
PID Feedback Control
With up to six feedback control loops available, the CTC100 can provide precise temperature control of each of its heater outputs by continually adjusting the heater power. Any of the CTC100’s channels can be selected as the input for each feedback loop. Feedback time constants can be adjusted between 200 ms and 10 hrs.
Up to ten sets of PID parameters can be stored for each channel. Setpoints can be ramped at a fixed rate (or with a user program), set from an analog input.
Analog and Digital I/Os
The CTC100 comes with four general-purpose ±10 V voltage I/O channels read by a 24-bit ADC. It also has eight digital I/O channels that can interact with user programs.
Four 5 A relays can be used for process control. Three virtual channels, not connected to any physical input, allow calculated values (such as the difference between two channels, or a value calculated by a user program) to be displayed, graphed, and logged.
Numeric and Graphical Display
The CTC100’s color LCD display can show any combination of temperature measurements and heater outputs on graphs or numeric displays. Up to eight channels can be plotted either on a single graph with a common Y axis, or on separate graphs with independent Y axes. Touchscreen operation makes the instrument versatile and easy to use.
Data Logging
Up to 4096 readings per channel can be logged to the CTC100’s internal memory. For longer-term storage, data can be logged to standard USB memory sticks or hard drives.
Data logged to USB devices can be transferred to a computer by plugging the USB device into a PC. Windows applications are included to graph CTC100 log files and to convert them to various ASCII text formats.
Computer Communications
Each of the CTC100’s front-panel controls has a corresponding text command that can be sent over USB, Ethernet, and either RS-232 or an optional GPIB interface.
When the USB interface is used, the CTC100 appears on the computer as a standard COM port and can be controlled by any software that is compatible with an RS-232 port.
User Programs
User programs (macros), consisting of one or more remote commands, can be uploaded to the CTC100. This is done by either sending them through one of the communications ports or by saving them as text files on a USB memory device and then plugging the device into the CTC100. Program macros can also be entered and edited from the front panel.

Model 7270 - Overview
The model 7270 sets a new standard for general-purpose DSP lock-in amplifiers.  We've taken advantage of the developments in technology since the first DSP lock-in amplifiers were introduced in the early 1990’s to update the core design, but made sure that we’ve included all the best features of our model 7265 and 7280 instruments. What’s more, the new architecture has allowed us to offer even better specifications in an instrument that is physically much more compact than older designs. The result is a lock-in amplifier of outstanding performance that is easy to use and suitable for all measurements over a frequency range extending from 1 mHz to 250 kHz.

Versatility
In common with other models in our range, the 7270 offers much more than just dual phase lock-in detection at the reference frequency of an applied signal. We’ve included features unique to SIGNAL RECOVERY instruments such as dual reference and dual harmonic detection, which allow signals at two different frequencies to be measured simultaneously. The spectral display mode shows the power spectral density of the input signal, making it easy to avoid interfering signals when selecting a reference frequency. It is now even possible to perform tandem demodulation. In this mode an amplitude-modulated signal at a (high) “carrier” frequency is first demodulated at that frequency. The resulting in-phase output, at short time constant settings, is a signal at the modulating frequency which is then passed forward for detection by a second set of demodulators running at the same modulating frequency. Such detection techniques, which can be used in pump-probe measurements, have until now required two separate instruments with an analog connection between them.

Fast Data Processing
The main ADC sampling rate and the rate at which the analog signal outputs are updated is 1 MSa/s, giving excellent performance when used at short output filter time constant settings, such as in scanned probe measurements. But we’ve also increased the maximum rate at which data can be stored to the internal curve buffer to 1 μs per point, allowing for the first time direct capture of instrument outputs when using these short time constants. The buffer length has also been increased to 100,000 sets of points, giving recording times of 100 ms at the fastest sampling rates. What’s more, in the fast capture mode the length does not need to be divided by the number of outputs being stored, making it possible, for example, to store the full 100,000 points of X, Y and auxiliary ADC1 values at the same time.

Remote Control
The built-in RS232, USB and Ethernet connections allow full operation from a controlling computer. We offer a comprehensive software package, Acquire, that can operate the instrument via any of these interfaces and makes it easy to set up and run complex experiments, such as frequency response measurements, as well as allowing remote control of every instrument function. Users who wish to do their own programming can use our ActiveX control and toolkit (SRInstComms), or free LabVIEW driver, to simplify the task.
